In Memorium: Unfortunately, Elverta Mock Harris passed away on August 13, 2019. She and her late husband Harold shared the story of her myeloma journey here.

Elverta Mock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and retired Correctional Administrator.

In 2012, Elverta was diagnosed with myeloma, and underwent a transplant the following year. She and Harold, who is retired from the U.S. Army, keep busy with five children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
