Since 1992 Myeloma Today has been helping the entire myeloma community stay in the info loop. The IMF Internet Discussion Group hosts an online support group where users can log on and share thoughts and experiences.
PATIENT & FAMILY SEMINARS
Since 1993 the IMF has been conducting Patients & Family Seminars in cities around the world. These educational meetings empower patients and their families as they learn the latest developments in the treatment and management of myeloma from a panel of world experts. Covering a broad range of topics that reflect the most advanced treatment modalities and research advances, these full day seminars offer a unique opportunity to have one on one time with myeloma experts and meet others to share experiences. RESEARCH
Begun in 1994 the IMF's research grant program has been funding the best research projects being done in the world for both mutliple myeloma and amyloidosis. These grants have gone to researchers at the leading institutions around the world. The IMF awards grants to both Junior and Senior investigators whose work is both innovative and novel. Created in memory of IMF founder Brian D. Novis, these grants have been made possible by genersous donations from patients, their families and friends who have been touched by myeloma.
PHYSICIAN SERVICES
In 1992 the IMF held the first Clinical Conference for multiple myeloma. Since that time the IMF has been conducting physican educational meetings around the world. The IMF offers a diverse range of scientific and clinician meetings including scientific discovery meetings, investigative roundtables and think tanks.
