CALL FOR ARTWORK
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) will host its 2 003 Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. The
theme of this year's Annual Meeting is Commitment Care Compassion: Honoring People with Cancer. ASCO
would like to enlist the help of patients, their families, and f riends to visually convey the theme of the Annual
Meeting using original artwork created by people whose lives have been touched by cancer. If you are interested
in participating, please see instructions below.
How to Submit Artwork to ASCO
·Artwork must be received by Tuesday, April 15, 2003.
·Artwork must be submitted on paper or canvas, in any size up to 24" x 36."
·Artwork mediums may include, but are not limited to, oil, watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, pencil, pen and ink,
poetry, letters, etc. Original photography will not be accepted.
·ASCO reserves the right to select materials for display at the 2 003 Annual Meeting.
·All artwork submitted for this event becomes the property of ASCO and will not be returned.**

**Important Notice: By sending artwork to ASCO you will retain all rights in such artwork. However, you will be
agreeing to grant permission to ASCO to reproduce and use such artwork as it deems appropriate at its Annual Meeting
and in connection with its other non-profit activities in support of cancer research, care and prevention, and you will be
warranting to ASCO that you have the right to grant such permiss ion.
