Mrs. Boyle became involved with the IMF when her husband, the actor Peter Boyle, was diagnosed with myeloma. Although Peter lost his battle, she has continued her commitment to the IMF and chairs "A Tribute to Peter Boyle," the annual comedy show to benefit the foundation. A graduate of Barnard, Mrs. Boyle is a writer and editor, and is active in community organizations.

Mr. DiCicilia has worked in product marketing and product management in the telecommunications, document management and software industries for over thirty years. He has successfully brought to market a number of products and services while working for a variety of large and medium sized companies.
  Michael S. Katz, MBA
  Information Technology Consultant

Mr. Katz is Senior Vice President with a global management consulting firm. His 30 years of consulting experience spans manufacturing, consumer products, financial services, publishing, travel, direct marketing, credit card processing, communication, and other information industries. He also has extensive experience in media and entertainment, having worked with traditional publishing, record companies, interactive media and television motion picture production and distribution companies.

Mr. Katz has helped a number of companies think through data processing organization and deployment issues. These assignments required evaluation of centralization/ decentralization options, planning post-merger consolidations, splitting operations for divestiture, and developing cost reduction programs.

He holds both a BS in computer science and an MBA in management science from Columbia University.
  Benson Klein, JD
  Attorney

Mr. Klein is a Principal Member of the law firm Ward & Klein, Chartered. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University College of Law in 1970 and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He as served and continues to serve on the board of organizations such as EagleBank, Chairman of the EagleBank Healthcare Advisory Board, President of the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Governance Board and other organizations in both the business and non-profit sectors.
  Robert A. Kyle, MD
  Professor of Medicine – Hematologist/Oncologist

Dr. Kyle is Professor of Medicine and Laboratory Medicine at the Mayo Medical School, Rochester, Minnesota. He received his M.D. with Distinction from Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Kyle has published over 800 articles relating to hematology and oncology, along with an additional 1100 abstracts and editorials. He has served both as a Guest Lecturer and as a Visiting Professor throughout the world. Dr. Kyle currently serves as a director and member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the International Myeloma Foundation. He has been Chairman of the Myeloma Committee of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, a member of the Editorial Board of Leukemia, and Secretary General of International Society of Hematology, Inter-American Division.
  Edith Mitchell, MD
  Professor of Medicine

Dr. Mitchell is a clinical professor at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. After receiving her M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Mitchell served first active duty, then reserve duty, as a Physician with the United States Air Force for a total of nine years. She and was honored with several prestigious military decorations during her time of service, and was subsequently honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the Air National Guard.
  Gregory R. Mundy, MD
  Professor of Medicine – Endocrinologist

Dr. Mundy is Professor of Medicine, Pharmacology, Orthopaedics and Cancer Biology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is also John A. Oates Chair in Translational Medicine and Director of the Vanderbilt Center in Bone Biology at that institution.
  Charles Newman, MS
  Entrepreneur

Mr. Newman has been an entrepreneur since starting his first company while a college undergraduate in 1961. He has been instrumental in the development of the secondary user market for used wireless handsets and is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President of ReCellular Inc., the largest company in this market, currently processing over 300,000 phones per month. In addition, Mr. Newman is a principal of the Newman Computer Group and was a founder and member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Ann Arbor. Mr. Newman received his B.S. in 1963, and his M.S. in 1964, both from the University of Michigan.
  Susie Novis
Founder and President, International Myeloma Foundation
  Ms. Novis founded the IMF in 1990 with her late husband, Brian Novis, and Brian G.M. Durie. M.D., as a means to advance myeloma research, and to develop and implement patient and physician educational programs in myeloma.

In 1992, Ms. Novis was elected Exec. Dir. of the IMF and today holds the title of President. Under her direction, the IMF has continued to experience impressive growth, and the programs that she has developed have become models for other organizations worldwide.

Ms. Novis has testified before the United States Congress on behalf of greater resources for myeloma research. In 2002, she was presented with the Joseph Michaeli Award for her outstanding contributions to the understanding, advancement and treatment of myeloma. Investor’s Business Daily featured Ms. Novis in its Leaders & Success column, and she has been recognized in many articles worldwide for the important work that she has done on behalf of myeloma patients and their families.
  Matthew Robinson
  Sales and Business Development

Mr. Robinson currently serves as Vice President, Sales and Business Development for Warner Brothers International Television in Burbank, California.

After receiving his B.A. cum laude in Economics at Harvard University, Mr. Robinson completed his MBA at London Business School. Before returning to the United States for his current position, Mr. Robinson worked in finance and planning for Kleinwort Benson Ltd., Smith Barney Harris Upham, and The Walt Disney Company. He was a Founding Partner of Chadlington House Limited.
  E. Michael D. Scott
  Scientific & Medical Communications

Born in England, and raised in England, Nigeria, and Switzerland, Mr. Scott moved to the US in 1985. He is a principal and executive VP of Vox Medica, Inc., a Philadelphia-based health-care communications group. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), and an associate member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He graduated from the University of Sussex, where he earned an honors degree in biochemistry.
  Igor Sill
  Investment Management

Igor M. Sill is Managing Director of Geneva Venture Management and Geneva Venture Partners (funds I&II), a San Francisco-based venture capital firm. Igor also serves as Chairman of GenevaGroup International, an investment advisory and consulting services firm. Mr. Sill graduated from Oxford University with his MBA, and is a Merton College fellow.
  Allan Weinstein, PhD
  Business Consultant

Dr. Weinstein is a private consultant to various business corporations and a director of St. Francis Medical Technologies. Dr. Weinstein previously served as President & CEO of both Spine Solutions, Inc. and Harrington Arthritis Research Center, among other business positions.

Previously, Dr. Weinstein was a tenured Full Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopaedic Surgery at Tulane University. He received his Ph.D. in Physical Metallurgy from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in BioMaterials at University of Pennsylvania.
