The IMF is here for the thousands of people who have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and we provide a wealth of information and support for patients and their families.

There are approximately 15,000 new cases of myeloma diagnosed each year in the United States. The IMF has an innovative research program, and we are making great strides. However, we realize we cannot do it alone. We need partners. We need your support. Make a tax deductible donation today to the IMF to help make a difference.

Good News! The IRA Charitable Rollover Passed!
In "Division C -- the Tax Extenders and Alternative Minimum Tax Relief Act of 2008" of H.R. 1424, Congress extended an excellent charitable planning opportunity for both 2008 and 2009. This act permits an IRA owner age 70½ or older to make a direct transfer to charity. The transfer may be up to $100,000 in one year and this IRA rollover will exist for year 2008 and year 2009. To find out how you can take advantage of this opportunity, call IMF VP of Development Heather Ortner at 800-452-2873.
