Support Groups

The IMF is often asked by patients if we know of support groups in their areas where they can meet others dealing with myeloma. There is a worldwide network of more than 150 myeloma support groups that hold regular meetings for members of the myeloma community.

Although the IMF does not sponsor these groups, we support their efforts and conduct annual summits for myeloma support group leaders. We encourage you to seek them out. Use the menu below for a list of the groups that we are aware of in your area.

United States : Kentucky

Lexington
The Living Beyond Myeloma Support Group, founded in April, 2010, meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at the Centenary Methodist Church, 2800 Tates Creek Road, Lexington, KY 40502.  Enter the building at the administrative entrance and take the stairs to the lower floor. Room #43 is the meeting room. Louisville
The Louisville Multiple Myeloma Support Group, founded in July, 1995, meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, except for November and December, at the Conference Center at Jewish Medical Center East, 3920 Dutchman’s Lane, Louisville, KY, 40207. Enter the building and take a left. Richmond
