 The IMF is often asked by patients if we know of support groups in their areas where they can meet others dealing with myeloma. There is a worldwide network of more than 150 myeloma support groups that hold regular meetings for members of the myeloma community.
Although the IMF does not sponsor these groups, we support their efforts and conduct annual summits for myeloma support group leaders. We encourage you to seek them out. Use the menu below for a list of the groups that we are aware of in your area.

| This Northern California Multiple Myeloma Support Group, founded in 2011, meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 1:30-3:30 PM, at the Enloe Cancer Center Library, 265 Cohassett Road, Chico, CA 95929. | This group, founded on May 5th, 2005 meets the 3rd Saturday of each month from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Riverside Community Hospital 4445 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA (Near Corner of Magnolia Ave. and 14th Street, in their Health Education Center). There is free parking in the Physician’s Parking Lot next to the Health Education Center. The gate to the parking lot will be open from 10:30am to 11:30am. Complimentary light refreshments (coffee, tea, bottled water, soda, cookies, fruit, etc.) will be served at the meetings.
