Ava & Cece's RACE TO BEAT MYELOMA
Our names are Ava and Cece Fainberg and we live in Chevy Chase, MD. On May 2, 2015, with our family and friends, we will host a walk & run to support the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF). Our grandfather, Benson Klein, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 1998 (before we were born), and the IMF has been very near to our hearts ever since.

March Against Myeloma 2015
Saturday, May 2nd will be a day to honor my mom, as well as all cancer fighters world-wide, by celebrating the finale of a fundraising campaign to benefit the International Myeloma Foundation.

Cincinnati Flying Pig Half Marathon
Miracles happen when pigs fly, and they do in Cincinnati, OH! Last year with your generous donations we raised $3,100 for the International Myeloma Foundation. We would love to continue to increase our fundraising efforts and exceed that amount this year!

Team Brady Mudders Day Fun Run
We are running to honor Nanny Brady and to help our community become aware that multiple myeloma affects many people and continued research is needed to help others. The money raised at this event will be donated to the International Myeloma Foundation for myeloma research.
Mambo for Myeloma
The #MamboforMyeloma initiative asks patients, caregivers, doctors, friends, family members, and groups to film themselves dancing and share a donation link for the cause. You don’t have to be an amazing dancer; the spirit is what is important. With #MamboforMyeloma, myeloma patients have the power to be seen and heard, initiating change and sharing their stories. The IMF supports #MamboforMyeloma and encourages you to share your photos and videos, as well as to donate here.
VETERANS AGAINST MYELOMA (VAM)
Our combined efforts to continue our service through the Veterans Against Myeloma cause can help research and help us win the battle by finding a cure.
Bicycle Mojave...and Beyond!!!
Andy Sninsky keeps his bicycle wheels rolling to raise awareness of multiple myeloma. He is now in Northern California riding for himself as well as all blood cancer patients. September is blood cancer awareness month and I could not think of a more fun way to meet people and inform them of our situation.

You can follow my links and read about my current journey and donate to this good cause.

How to Host an Afternoon Tea
Here’s an elegant way to build awareness about myeloma and raise money in your community. It's easy, it's fun, and the International Myeloma Foundation helps you all along the way.
Living With Cancer as "A New Normal"
A Journey with Cancer through the Eyes of a Caregiver

This guide to creating a "new normal" was developed by Dianna Mitchell Marston and her family to meet their own needs when her husband, Nathan, was diagnosed with myeloma.
