They offer an opportunity to help make new treatments available to all patients by helping to advance science. Patients in clinical trials receive high-quality care and are carefully followed. The National Cancer Institute has an excellent web site, CancerTrials, with basic information about clinical trials and an extensive database of active trials.
The IMF's Myeloma Matrix lists drugs currently under development and tracks them from discovery to approval. Most of the entries have links to the NCI PDQ database listing current clinical trials .
EmergingMed’s Navigator service enables you to create a detailed profile to see if you match the eligibility requirements of more than 10,000 trials in the United States and Canada.
