Statement of Principles

Prevention - the key to reducing the burden of cancer.

Innovation - critical to early diagnosis and more effective and safer treatment

Equality of access - should be available for all patients to all approved treatments.

Early Approval - National policies and procedures for early approval of new treatments need to be reformed and streamlined.

Experimental Therapies - A mechanism is needed to permit access to unapproved and experimental therapies for patients who have exhausted other available possibilities.
