More than 150 women joined Carol Klein and Nancy Moses for Sunday tea on May 4th at the Four Seasons Hotel. The afternoon event raised more than $55,000. A generous donor then matched that amount, for a total of more than $110,000, all earmarked for IMF-supported myeloma research.

08.30.07   Concert for a Cause
One amazing night in August, Spinal Tap headlined a concert to raise funds to benefit the IMF. A crowd of over 1000 people packed the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood to hear Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer and their friends at the first ever Concert For A Cause.

July 15th found me in a charming little town on Long Island at Tupelo Honey, a lovely little restaurant owned by Willie Stephens, who for the 6th year running, has opened his establishment for the day to supporters of Multiple Musicians against Multiple Myeloma.

04.27.07   The F.O.R. (Friends of Richie) Benefit Story
A series of little decisions. That's how it happened. We raised the awareness about multiple myeloma. Raised some money for the cause. Made a whole bunch of music. Hung out with good people. It doesn't get any better.

An elegant ballroom...Spirited company...The host of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous...What more could you ask for on a Saturday night!?! 06.01.06   My Journey Through Myeloma
Throughout my journey with myeloma, the IMF has been a source of information and encouragement for me and my family. We wanted to do something to express our gratitude. On the weekend of April 21, 2006, at the 8th Annual Heart of Dixie American Bulldog Specialty we set up a booth at the dog show, and handed out IMF printed materials and sold the burgundy IMF bracelets. My family is so pleased to have been able to contribute our efforts to help the foundation that has helped me so much.
