A one week retreat at the beautiful Sunstone Healing Center in Tucson, Arizona, with Native American healer, Marilyn Youngbird and Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, who spoke at the Los Angeles Patient & Family Seminar.
Marilyn is a reknown medicine woman featured in Coyote Medicine. Dr. Mehl-Madrona has worked with her for years, and has written about amazing results that patients have seen who have worked with her. Marilyn is Arikara-Hidatsa-Mandan from North Dakota and is a relative of Sacagawea, famous today because of the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
During the retreat, Marilyn will primarily structure the time, doing the healing activities she learned from her grandmother and other healers of her people. Dr. Mehl-Madrona and staff will add experiences as appropriate to create a truly cross-cultural healing experience.
Offered through funding from an anonymous family foundation, and in conjunction with Amrita, Inc., Mirasol, Inc. and the University of Arizona Program in Integrative Medicine.
Cost is $100 per night for 8 days ($800), which covers room and board.
