Father Phil

"I am not sure what will come after this, but I have learned not to live too far into the future.
Instead I value each and every moment and experience and above all value the people."

After 40 years of ministry in Africa, Chicago, Seattle and Boston, Catholic priest Father Phil Wallace is retiring. But he’s not going to rest on his laurels. In September, he will journey to East Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. This myeloma survivor does not want to take his diagnosis sitting down, and he lives each day to the fullest. On August 19th and August 26th, his parish is coming together to honor his retirement, and to raise money and myeloma awareness for the IMF! (See locations and dates above.)
