FIFTH ANNUAL: Wayne Hamby Memorial Golf Tournament
The Wayne Hamby Memorial Golf Tournament began in 2010 when Wayne Hamby passed away from multiple myeloma and his Pinecrest Golf Club friends held this event in his memory. The first year there were approximately 82 players. Last year, 2013, the tournament participation grew to over 100; and this year, we are hoping for record attendance.

Modern Art against Myeloma
This is an art exhibit and sale to benefit the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF). This event is also to encourage as many patients with multiple myeloma and other forms of cancer (and caregivers) to attend and network with others. The exhibit is free and open to the general public.
Mambo for Myeloma
Since the success of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, we have been asked what the next big fundraising/awareness challenge will be for multiple myeloma.

Take a look at a cool idea we’ve seen our members come up with, and let us know if you’ve started your own “challenge” idea in your community!

VETERANS AGAINST MYELOMA (VAM)
Our combined efforts to continue our service through the Veterans Against Myeloma cause can help research and help us win the battle by finding a cure.
Bicycle Mojave...and Beyond!!!
Andy Sninsky keeps his bicycle wheels rolling to raise awareness of multiple myeloma. He is now in Northern California riding for himself as well as all blood cancer patients. September is blood cancer awareness month and I could not think of a more fun way to meet people and inform them of our situation.

You can follow my links and read about my current journey and donate to this good cause.

Denise & Thomas's Wedding Registry in Tribute to Manuel R. Arevalo
In lieu of a traditional wedding registry, we ask that you make a donation to the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) in loving memory of my father, Manuel R. Arevalo.

Thank you, Denise and Thomas

How to Host an Afternoon Tea
Here’s an elegant way to build awareness about myeloma and raise money in your community. It's easy, it's fun, and the International Myeloma Foundation helps you all along the way.

This guide to creating a "new normal" was developed by Dianna Mitchell Marston and her family to meet their own needs when her husband, Nathan, was diagnosed with myeloma.
