On this teleconference, Dr. Durie covers the 70 abstracts that represent highlights of the over 700 research projects presented at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) meeting. The studies presented at ASH reflected a deepening knowledge of drugs used in the treatment of myeloma and other cancers and of new insights into the molecules and antibodies that hold promise for future treatments. They also demonstrated a growing ability to test, image, identify, monitor and treat myeloma, and an increased understanding of its biology.
