  • Patients Request Access to ALL Chemotherapy

    PEAC Lobby Day VolunteersOn June 26th, 2012, the Patient Equal Access Coalition advocated to gain additional co-sponsors for HR 2746, the Cancer Drug Coverage Parity Act, and to identify a Senate champion for companion legislation. IMF also held a virtual lobby day on the 26th, where over 150 people sent emails and made phone calls to their Congressional representatives to educate lawmakers and ask them to co-sponsor the bill. Since, the lobby day HR2746 has gained 5 new co-sponsors bringing the total number up to 45. Thank you to everyone who made this day a success. If you haven't contacted your Congressman email them today.

State Legislative Update

Massachusetts -- S1070/S2363 was passed by the state senate last week. Now moves to the state House of Represenatives for a vote as soon as this week. Make your voice heard Today!
California -- AB1000 passed out of the Health Committee at the end of June. Currently, it's waiting for review in the Senate Appropriations Committee.
