Saturday, November 17, 2012 | |  | | Myeloma Drug News: FDA Advisory Committee to Review Pomalidomide |  | | The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee (ODAC) will review Celgene’s application for approval of its drug pomalidomide on November 8, the company announced this week. The FDA has set a date of February 10, 2013 for completion of the review. “Expanding the pipeline of drugs available to treat myeloma is vitally important,” said Susie Novis, IMF President and Co-Founder. “Each new drug is needed to help fill the unmet need and contribute to the steadily improving survival for myeloma patients,” said Brian G.M.
