Jean-Luc Harousseau and Mario Boccadoro debated whether achievement of complete response (CR) should be a major objective of the treatment of multiple myeloma. The debaters presented their arguments, and a discussion followed. Dr. Alexanian, the moderator, emphasized that there were no winners and losers in the debate, which was meant to clarify a controversial subject.
