New Access To Medical Articles

The IMF regularly receives requests from our members for copies of medical papers on the latest in myeloma research. Many of you seek out even the most technical content in order to stay up to date on the latest developments. To that end, we want to make you aware of a resource now accessible to the public at large. Until recently, access to the online version of Blood, the journal of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), was only available as part of a restrictive license at authorized libraries subscribing to the print copy of the publication. That policy has now changed, allowing more liberal access to a wealth of new and archive issues of the online journal. The Blood Online site can be accessed and searched by journal volume number, author, words in title or abstract, words anywhere in the article, and date of publication. Multiple other journals may be searched through the Blood Online site as well. Go to http://www.bloodjournal.org, click on Search for Articles and enter your search criteria. Once again, please be advised that since the publication is written for hematologists, the
content is very technical.
