I have been going to the James Cancer Center in Columbus Ohio for 5 years with multiple myeloma. All along doctors are telling me that this is not a currable cancer. I have read some stories that state you have cured patient of this cancer. My question is how. I am 49 years old, I have had a stem cell transplant not from a donor, I have been treated with Revlimd and now I am on a research of dex, velcade and pomolidimide. Is there really a cure at my age I hate to think that I will be on chemo my whole life. I still work full time and have a very positive attitude which helps. But a life without this would be wonderful.
