Dr. Morgan is Professor of  Haematology at The Royal Marsden Hospital. He took his medical and haematology specialty training at the Welsh National School of Medicine, the Royal College of Physicians, London, and the Royal College of Pathologists. He received a PhD from the University of London.

Dr. Morgan is a respected clinician and researcher. He is a journal reviewer for Blood, British Journal of Haematology, JNCI, Cancer Research and is on the Editorial Board of Leukaemia Research, Clinical Laboratory Haematology and Haematological Oncology
