ASH 2012: The Busiest Ever — and the IMF Was All Over It! |
The Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) is always a venue for myeloma researchers to network with each other and the many pharma partners now invested in myeloma new drug development. However, this year—with the recent FDA approval of Carfilzomib (Kyprolis®) and pending approval of pomalidomide—the diverse options and changing paradigm for novel therapy strategics led to a multitude of meetings occurring at a frantic pace.
The IMF has captured the activities of the 54th Annual Meeting, held December 8th through December 11th in Atlanta, Georgia, in a variety of forms—including webcasts, blogs, on Twitter and Facebook, and in interviews conducted by Mike Katz and Debbie Birns with key investigators (available on Monday, December 17 on the IMF website).
