IMF President Susie Novis To Testify At Senate Hearing On Cancer Research Funding

International Myeloma Foundation President Susie Novis has been called to Washington, DC next week to appear before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education hearing on funding for cancer research. Susie will carry the message of thousands of myeloma patients and their families on the need for more research resources. Among those joining Susie in testifying will be Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson and AOL-Time Warner Chairman Steve Case. After testifying Susie will accompany other IMF advocates to meetings with Members of Congress as part of the One Voice Against Cancer (OVAC) Annual Lobby Day. Hundreds of cancer activists are expected in Washington for the event.
