Watch IMF's "Point-Counterpoint Session" Broadcast Live from ASH



 

Tune in Friday, Dec. 4 to watch the IMF’s satellite symposium live from the ASH annual meeting. The presentation, “Global Advances in Myeloma: Providing the Best Options for Treatment in 2015,” will feature interactive case discussions with “point-counterpoint” sessions from leading myeloma physicians. Topics include benefits/risks associated with new diagnostic criteria and early treatment of multiple myeloma (MM), risk-adapted therapy for patients with newly diagnosed MM, using the minimal residual disease to guide maintenance therapy, and emerging systemic therapies. The event will be webcast live at 12:30 pm ET/ 9:30 am PT on Friday, December 4th. Panelists are Drs. Brian G.M. Durie, Shaji Kumar, Dr. Philippe Moreau, Bruno Paiva, Antonio Palumbo, and Jesus F. Watch IMF's IMWG Conference Series Debate Live from ASH:"Making Sense of Treatment"


 

The IMF will cap off the ASH 2015 meeting with “Making Sense of Treatment,” the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG) Conference Series, on Monday, December 7th. IMF Chairman Dr. Brian Durie will moderate and be joined by IMWG members Drs. Joseph Mikhael, Paul Richardson, and Antonio Palumbo to tackle the key questions currently facing myeloma doctors and patients in light of the latest research presented at ASH. Global Myeloma Advocacy Organizations Meet to Discuss Sustainability


 

The Global Myeloma Action Network (GMAN)—which consists of member myeloma advocacy organizations in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia—met on September 22, 2015, in Rome. Twenty advocates discussed the steps that each of their respective organizations can take to ensure their longevity, build relationships with key stakeholders, plan patient seminars, and design program budgets for fundraising initiatives.
