RUN THE NYC MARATHON AND FIGHT MYELOMA
07.31.06
Perhaps you were unlucky in the lottery selection for this year's New York City Marathon. Perhaps it only just now struck you that you'd like to take a 26.2 mile jog through the five boroughs this fall. Or perhaps your desire to fight myeloma makes this opportunity the opportunity of a lifetime.

Whatever the reason, this November 5th, the IMF has your guaranteed place at the ING New York City Marathon starting line.

Team Continuum is a non-profit organization founded by myeloma survivor Paul Nicholls to help all patients with cancer. Team Continuum has reserved 25 slots on their team for us to join them in their fight against cancer. Every dollar you raise goes directly to the IMF, net the NYC Marathon entry fee. By running this year's marathon, you'll also be part of something even larger--a group of over 200 Team Continuum runners raising awareness for the issues important to all cancer patients and families everywhere. All we ask is that you raise a minimum of $2500 from family, friends, and businesses in support of your marathon run.

Spanning five bridges and all five boroughs, two million spectators and 260 million worldwide television viewers cheer on the New York City Marathon runners. As any one of the 672,000 past participants will attest, crossing the finish line in Central Park is one of the great thrills of a lifetime.

If you are interested, first you will need to contact Paul Nicholls at 917-892-2184 or p.nicholls@earthlink.net. You will provide him with your first name, last name, email address and, most importantly, that you are an IMFer. He will start the process that will enter you into the marathon as a Team Continuum runner.

The New York City Marathon is a race like no other. Now is your chance to run it for a cause like no other.
