Myeloma Patients and their Families meet with World Renowned Medical Professionals at The International Myeloma Foundation’s Minneapolis Patient and Family Seminar

WHAT:  The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) (www.myeloma.org) brings together patients, families and myeloma physicians from around the country for an intensive two-day, interactive seminar. Emphasizing education, research, support and advocacy, the IMF Patient & Family Seminar offers an innovative and exciting agenda to empower patients and provide invaluable information and support within the myeloma community.

WHO:  Myeloma patients will have the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with the leading practitioners in the field of multiple myeloma to review their individual treatment options. They will also learn about the latest advances in myeloma treatment and management, including the IMF’s breakthrough research project, Bank On A Cure®, and what it means to them. Sessions include:

  • Advances in Supportive Care
  • Today’s Treatment for Bone Disease
  • Transplantation – What’s new 10 years later
  • Patient Panel – Patients speak out on their personal experiences with Myeloma
